2 Hour Show

Approximate Reading Time: 1 min. Poor DJ Hannah. After not having a show the entire month of March, she got in a minor car accident several days ago and had to miss her shift to get some new tires. DJ Hannah is normally on Wednesday afternoons from 4-5pm (right after me) so she asked me to take it, which I did gladly. And do not fret, she is feeling perfectly fine, albeit a little bummed. Today's show was a lot of fun, not only because it was a 2 hour shift (which are rare during the Spring and Fall), but I also had some visitors from a community center stop by for a brief tour of the station. I let some of the kids on the air and they revealed to me that they enjoyed chicken and waffles. Lovely. In any case, I want to apologize for two things: 1. the awkward 4 second silence that happened right after I played a song by Silver Jews and 2. the abrupt stop right in the middle of Prince's song "7." Both can be blamed on one of our CD players that was having an attitude problem today. I hope no one suffered any serious health problems from either of those two accidents.
