Shack-a-thon!

Ive been out at Shack-a-thon all morning long and decided to come in and talk about it a little.

Shack-a-thon is basically a bunch of groups at NC State that every year with Habitat for Humanity camp out in the brick yard for an entire week. People sleep out there, eat out there, and do all sorts of games, giveaways, and sales. Bake sales are going on, one group has some sort of ping-pong tournament, musicians play, and people collect money. The proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity and a little extra goes to the groups who shack up. The point is to show people that many others dont have homes or their homes are not worth living in. WKNC is going to be out there all week long with live cut ins from the music a couple times an hour. We will be selling CDs, t-shirts, and goodie bags, and will be have random drawings of prizes for people who stop by.

Kyle, Steve, John, C-note, and myself have been out there all morning and more DJs will be shacking up all week long so stop by and support us!
