Live In The Brickyard! (god help us!)

Approximate Reading Time: 1 min. 20 sec.
So I have been in the brickyard for Shack-a-thon all week. Its been awesome out there. We have been giving away goodie bags, selling merchandise, and all for a good cause. It ends tomorrow at 10am, so get your butts out there and donate some money to Habitat for Humanity! It was really funny this morning though. I was out there live with Kyle & Jacob (two of my favorite DJs to listen to) and we went to a break but our remote feeder lost service and I was forced to stall for about 2 minutes. Kyle was like "Caid, get on the mic now and say something while I fix this!" So I just stood there and rambled uncontrollably for a while until we were back on. An absolute trainwreck. I have a cold so I couldnt breath and we were laughing the entire time. So if you were listening I apologize, though it was hilarious.

Overall yesterdays show was fantastic. I played a bunch of stuff I have played previously like Bowie, Wet Willie, Moby, Ween, Kaiser Chiefs, Franco Battiato, and Young Love. Not too many requests, though I doubt I will be playing D.A.N.C.E. by Justice again. Not one of my favorites. The Jamie T song is dope, and I also found out that the Decemberists are coming to Winston-Salem in November, so I am totally going to that show. I got some sweet messages on AIM from some people yesterday, here are a couple (screen names not shown for privacy):

"I love listening to your show! Ive been listening from the very beginning and every week you introduce me to new awesome music! Thanks!"
-Kelly
"Dude, I wish You were on more than you are, your show is the highlight of my week. You play some killer stuff!"
-Ryan

So there is a major boost to my swollen oversized head. Im lovin' it! Keep sending requests and keep listening!

Heres my playlist from yesterday, sorry it took so long to get up:
