Wednesday's Show

So this past Wednesday was my third show, and the first that wasnt 4 hours long. I think I played some great music and got some compliments for that. Because of classes I wasnt as prepared for my show as I normally am, and one of my CDs skipped an entire song and played a different one. I was a little ticked at that and it threw me off. I was way out of my element and not warmed up when I went on. Usually I would give myself an hour to get in the groove of things before I really try to talk to my listeners. This week I was not ready and had to jump in on the fly, and I think the results were less than satisfactory. I had a long spiel I was going to through out about the Def Leppard concert Tuesday night, but slipped up and ended it short. Some caller also kept calling in and hanging up whenever I answered. In any case, I will need to be better prepared when I go on this next show, and pump myself up before I turn the mic on.
